beatcamera Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") in consideration of the importance ofcustomers' personal information in the "beatcamera" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service")provided by the Company, has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to asthe "Policy"), to the appropriate handling of customers' personal information in the Service for theappropriate handling of personal information.

  • As used in the Policy, the term "personal information" refers to "personal information" as definedin the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of May 30, 2003) Article 2(1) andrefers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, dateof birth, or other description contained in the information, and including information and personalidentification codes which can be easily cross-checked with other information to identify a specificindividual.

  • TWhen collecting personal information, the Company will specify the purpose of use in advanceand notify it, and collect and use the information in an appropriate manner within the scopenecessary to achieve that purpose.

4. Purpose of collecting and using personal information

  • The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows.
    1. Provision of maintenance and support
    2. Research and analysis for the development of better services and products
    3. Contacting, cooperating, negotiating with customers, fulfilling contracts, requestingperformance, etc.
    4. Information on products and services
    5. Other matters related to the above

5. Safety management measures for the protection of personal information

  • The Company shall take necessary and appropriate organizational, personnel, physical, andtechnical safety control measures to prevent the leakage or loss of personal information.

6. Provision of personal information to third parties

  • The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties, except in the followingcases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of PersonalInformation and other laws and regulations.

    2. Cases in which personal data is provided to a third party under other laws and regulationsother than the Act on the Protection of Personal Information
    3. Cases in which it is necessary for the protection of life, body, or property in the situation thatit is difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question
    4. Cases in which it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or thepromotion of the sound growth of children in the situation that it is difficult to obtain theconsent of the individual
    5. Cases in which it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or aperson or organization entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribedby laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual concerned is likely toimpede the execution of such affairs

7. Shared use

  • The Company conducts business together with the following affiliates (hereinafter referred to asthe "Group"), and the following information may be shared among the Group.

8. Disclosure, suspension of use, correction, and deletion of personal information

  • Customers may request the Company to disclose, stop using, correct, add, or delete (hereinafterreferred to as “Disclose and the like") the content of their personal information. In which cases a customer requests Disclosure and the like, the Company will respondappropriately following the Act on the Protection of Personal Information after confirming thecustomer's identity.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

  • The contents of the Policy are subject to change without notice to customers, except as otherwiseprovided by law or in the Policy. The revised policy shall become effective when it is posted onthe Company's website unless otherwise specified by the Company.

株式会社beatcamera（以下、「当社」といいます。）は、当社が提供する「beatcamera」（以下、「本サービス」といいます。）における、お客様の個人情報の重要性に鑑み、その適切な取扱いのため、プライバシーポリシー（以下、「本ポリシー」といいます。）を定めます

  • お客様は、当社に対して個人情報の内容の開示、利用 停止、 訂正及 び追加 または 削除（以下、「開示等」といいます。）を請求することができます。当社は、お客様より開示等の請求があった場合には、お客様がご本人であることを確認の上個人情報保護法に基づき適切に対応します。

9.　プライバシーポリシーの変更

  • 本ポリシーの内容は、法令その他本ポリシーに別段の定めのある事項を除いて、お客様に通知することなく、変更 する場合があります。変更後 の本ポリシーは、当社が別途定める場合を除いて、当社のウェブサイトに掲載したときから効力を生じるものとします。
